  My wife fell in love with Hungary a year ago. She promised I wouldn’t regret it. I don’t. Sum total of what I knew back then…The Gabor family. The Hungarian language distinct, not Cyrillic, not Slavic. I had read something about Tatars and Magyars, and resistance to the Soviets. Just, well, Hungarian differentness.. Now I have learned a lot. My wife, no spring chicken, wants us to move there. So I figured it was time to learn about Hungary. You all can learn with me. I’ll try to make it easy… Me, I love differentness. My wife promised me she would help find all the reasons she loves this nation.
